SENER and CRE extend legal terms and deadlines suspension due to COVID-19
The Ministry of Energy ("SENER") and the Energy Regulatory Commission ("CRE") published in the Official Gazette the resolutions extending the suspension of legal terms and deadlines in the acts and procedures carried out before said agencies, as a measure to prevent and combat the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 (the "Resolutions").
The Resolutions extend the suspension until the health authority determines that there is no epidemiological risk related to the gradual, cautious and orderly opening of activities related to the Federal Public Administration. The actions, requirements, requests or promotions filed before such agencies will be understood to have been carried out until the health authority terminates the suspension.
It is important that individuals who have open proceedings or pending obligations before the SENER or the CRE take into account this resolution for the development of their activities within the aforementioned period. SOLCARGO’s energy area has extensive experience in these matters, so please do not hesitate to contact us to analyze the implications that this situation could have on your business or project.
